Where to look for old real estate listing photos

When you sell your home, you want potential buyers to see the house. Fortunately, that’s pretty easy to do online. Your listing agent hires a photographer, then submits the property and pictures to the MLS (Multiple Listing Service), which makes them available on dozens of real estate websites.

While these photos are a fantastic marketing tool, some buyers may not like them. Some view them as a subtle invasion of privacy, while others simply think that they’re a waste of time.

One way to find old real estate listing photos is by performing a simple Google search. You can type the address of the property in the search bar and then click on “Tools” to see all of the images associated with that address.

Another way to find old real estate listing photos is to use a service such as Zillow. This service will display all of the properties on the market that have been listed for sale in your area and include photos of each.

Some of these listings have already sold or expired, but you can still look through them to get an idea of what your home was actually worth. The information will help you understand how your property’s values have changed over the years, as well as how quickly prices are likely to rise.

You should always contact the listing agent to ask them to remove any of these old photos, though. This is not an easy request, but it’s certainly something you can do if you’re uncomfortable with the appearance of them on public websites.
